WATER PRODUCTION OPERATOR 
Shift/Hours Full Time 
Location Water Dept 
Description Under the direction of the Water Dept. Manager, incumbent will perform a variety of journey level skilled tasks in the following areas: Operate potable and non-potable water production facilities:  storage, distribution, transmission, treatment, disinfection, and SCADA control including related appurtenances and water sampling. Operator shall also perform the installation and repair of water distribution mains, water services, fire hydrants, meters, pumps, motors, water plant facilities, associated appurtenances, and participating in the Standby (On Call) rotation schedule. At times this position will directly supervise the Assistant Water System Operator in the absence of the Water System Supervisor.  
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience of water related experience in construction/maintenance and system operations.
  • Must posses and maintain a valid Class B driver's license issued by the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles with air brake endorsement and be insurable.
  • Must posses and maintain a valid Grade 2 Water Distribution Operators license issued by AWWAand/or State of California Department of Health Services, and Grade 1 Water Treatment Operators license issued by the State of California Department of Health Services.
  • Salary $19.79/hr

Description Receptionist will operate the central Tribal telephone system and provide information to the public. Responsible for variety of general office activities in support of the Morongo Tribal Administration offices.

GATE OFFICER 
Shift/Hours Part Time 
Location Reservation Patrol 
Description Incumbent will perform security and safety verifications of all vehicles, members, visitors, and personnel entering and exiting the Morongo Reservation; safeguarding the lives, property and rights of tribal members and guests. Prepare and maintain a variety of reports and logs related to activities. Provide other security enforcement services as assigned. 
Qualifications
  • Minimum of six (6) months previous security experience required.  
  • Must possess a current California Guard Card.
  • Current CA Driver's License and clean driving record required.
  • Must be insurable on Company insurance policy.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification required prior to date of hire.

Description Provide protection, security and safety enforcement services to safeguard the lives, property, and rights of Tribal members and guests. Respond to crime and accident scenes, emergency situations and other requests for assistance.  Duties include, but are not limited to, patrol assigned areas, assist with money pulls and prepare daily logs.    
Qualifications
  • Mandatory current Guard Card, Weapons Permit, PC832 with Level 1.
  • Minimum of six months related experience and/or POST Certificate required.
  • Must have the ability to pass a stringent background & credit check. 
  • In addition, candidate must have his/her own duty belt and boots.
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.

CASE MANAGER 
Shift/Hours Full Time 
Location TANF 
Description Under the direction of the TANF Director, plan, develop and implement social services designed to assist TANF participants in specific areas of career development and welfare; coordinate and direct TANF resources and communications to meet program objectives and goals to assure smooth and efficient activities. Provide TANF participants social and personal preventative & developmental guidance.   
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 yrs increasing responsible experience in social work including extensive experience with TANF. 
  • Efficient organizational skills plus excellent oral and written communication required.
  • Must be PC literate with knowledge in basic office equipment.
  • High diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor degree in accredited university in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related field required.
  • Experience may be substitutes in lieu of require education, prior experience providing social services to Native community will be considered.
  • Must demonstrate one or two years experience in Case Management in human service setting.
