ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT 
Shift/Hours Full Time 
Location Morongo Finance  
Description Under the direction of an Accounting Supervisor, perform a variety of clerical accounting duties in support of Accounts Payable. Duties will include, but not limited to, process weekly invoice payables. Also generate and distribute checks to vendors and employees. Maintain payables record files. 
Qualifications
  • Minimum one year experience of clerical accounting required.
  • Must be detail oriented and be able to process a heavy work volume under a tight deadline.
  • Must have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • College coursework in Accounting preferred.
  • Salary $13.54/hr
 
EDUCATION SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR 
Shift/Hours Full Time  
Location Education Services 
Description Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, plan, organize and direct the overall operations, activities of education services including the Morongo Little Creators Preschool, Morongo Elementary School, Cultural Heritage, Library, Scholarship, Morongo Learning Center programs and departments; coordinate and direct personnel, resources and communications to meet identified Tribal education service needs and assure smooth and efficient activities; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel. 
Qualifications

Any Combination equivalent to: BA in business administration, public administration or related field and 6 years of increasingly responsible experience in the development and implementation of organizational programs, projects, budgets and services in an educational environment, including 2 years in an administrative capacity. Master'd degree a plus.

 
CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER 
Shift/Hours Full Time  
Location Social Services 
Description Under the direction of the S.S. Administrator, provide a safe and nurturing place within the Morongo community for mental health issues to be addresses; provide skill building trading to directly target maladaptive emotional/behavior responses; provide support to establish a sense of hope to youth and families and to teach new and personal relationship skills; implement and support programs designed to create self-sufficiency and self esteem and other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications
  • Possession of  Master Degree in Social Work from a recognized school or MS in Psychology
  • Marriage and family therapy or counseling from a recognized 2 yr counseling program which included 300 hours of field placement experience
  • Must be a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and posses a Sate of CA LCSW Number
  • Three years of post Master’s degrees social case planning/case management, assessment and counseling experience in public or private agency.
 
EXECUTIVE ADMIN. ASST. to CHAIRPERSON 
Shift/Hours Full Time 
Location Tribal Administration 
Description Under the direction of the Tribal Chairperson to perform highly responsible and confidential secretarial and administrative assistant duties. Responsible for business correspondences, calendars and travel coordination. Communicate effectively with Tribal Members, Personnel and Government Agencies. Prepare and maintain technical and statistical reports and files related to Tribal Operations. Perform other related duties as assigned. 
Qualifications
  • Minimum seven (7) years of increasingly responsible, broad and varied clerical experience
  • 5 yrs experience working for executive level management
  • Experience with government agencies is preferred
  • Efficient organizational abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Able to type 50 WPM is required
  • BA degree preferred or H.S. graduate supplemented by 7-10 years experience in an administrative capacity.
