Message from the Chief

I am honored to be appointed by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians Tribal Council, and I will work tirelessly to ensure that this department exceeds all your expectations.

Eleven and a half years ago, I came to Morongo Band of Mission Indians as a Security Officer and have worked my way up through the ranks. Four years ago The Tribal Council appointed me as the Morongo Reservation Patrol Department Chief. Since that time our department has evolved from a Security Department to today's more professional Patrol Department.

Many other changes have occurred both within the Tribe and our department. I have implemented a more pro-active role with the Tribal Members, Dependents, Descendants, and residents. I have endorsed new policies to make the streets and Tribal properties more secure and safe for all to enjoy.

For the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, I will support any and all decisions, ordinances, and directives handed down from the Tribal Council. I will work to gain your support, trust, and respect, not only for me but for this department that supports your community.

For our department, I hold my staff accountable for their actions, as well as support their effectiveness in keeping the Tribal property secure, with little impact to the daily routines of the Tribal Members.

My focus for the future is to build a rapport with our department and the Tribe. This will benefit the Morongo Band of Mission Indians by making your community a leader by which other Nations will follow.
