Program assistant

Under the direction of the Family Advocate Supervisor, provides administrative support to the Family Advocates and other designated program staff. Assists with a variety of family strengthening and prevention activities, including those geared toward youth. Supports TANF department outreach functions to the community as necessary. May be assigned to work at alternate locations and/or work hours.



  • Minimum of two years in a position working with heavy customer contact in a multi-tasking, time sensitive environment. 
  • Experience in a T.A.N.F. or welfare to work programs preferred.

MGA Accounts Payable Clerk

Location Tribal Finance Department

Verifies proper coding of invoices, math accuracy, internal consistency, and completeness of accounts payable documents along with back up.  Responsible for reconciling vendor statements.  Responds to inquiries from vendors and employees: researches to resolve discrepancies and make necessary corrections.  Assist with the maintenance of AP files.  Assist with audit selections, special projects, and coverage for receptionist area. Travel between the Tribe’s governmental building and the Tribe’s Casino to gather documents and return with payments after processing.




  • Minimum of two years Accounts Payable experience. 
  • Prior experience with high volume of transactions. 
  • Strong attention to detail and great organization skills. 
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Para Transit Drivers

Shift/Hours Full Time and Part Time
Location Transportation Department

Under the direction of the Transportation Manager, incumbent will drive a Paratransit vehicle in the San Gorgonio Pass area to transport tribal elders, seniors 55+, students and persons with disabilities. The driver is required to push, pull and/or maneuver passengers and their wheelchair which can weigh between 200-450lbs.




Required to possess and maintain the following items:

• Valid California Class B Driver License with passenger & airbrake endorsements.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Insurability on Morongo’s vehicle insurance.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Project Coordinator

Location Construction Services

Responsible for preparing detail budget on proposed Tribal projects (this includes all on and off-site work, design engineering, construction, material cost, and any other pertinent details related to a particular project).  Evaluate supplier and contractor invoices for work completed and prepare for payment. Organize and archive plans in Plan Room. Act as point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants. Keep up-to-date records of all on going projects; Plans, Submittals, Change Orders, Budget Spreadsheets, Spec’s, RFI’s, Payment Applications. Monitor and enable flow of info to and from contractors. Operate computer-aided design (CAD) drafting system. Administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to office management duties, in addition to project support. Perform related duties as assigned.




  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office required.

Location Morongo Fire Department

Under the direction of the Fire Captain, protect life and property through fire suppression, fire prevention and emergency medical aid.  Respond to fire alarms, medical calls and other emergency situations on the Morongo reservation and enterprises. Maintain firefighting equipment in proper working condition. Participate in extensive training activities to enhance firefighting abilities. Provide further assistance in related duties as required.




  • Must have: CSFM Fire Academy, EMT-P, State license, Current ACLS, PALS, PHTLS or ITLS, CPR card and Current class C driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain local Riverside Accreditation immediately after hire.
  • At least one year as paramedic in the 911 system, this may include transport and non-transport experience preferred.
