Description

Description

Preparation of site, floor, and elevation plans and construction documents for a variety of Tribal Governmental and Enterprise applications.  Assist with developing, analyzing plans and specifications from Architects and Engineers; and offering input on plans from numerous levels (layout, structural, mechanical, electric, etc.). Operate computer-aided design (CAD) drafting system for preparation of both conceptual and construction documents for Tribal projects.  Responsible for preparing detailed budgets on proposed Tribal projects (this includes all on and off-site work, design, engineering, construction, material costs and any other pertinent details related to a particular project). Purchase high volume items and materials that cover extended contract periods. Evaluate supplier and contractor invoices for work completion and prepare for payment.  Perform related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of five years of professional experience related to construction, including experience in drafting, cost estimating, scheduling, project mgmt., and engineering elevations. 
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office are required.
  • Good written and communication skills

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting or related field and six years experience supervising managers who have Profit and Loss responsibility.
