Firefighter paramedic

Description

Under the direction of the Fire Captain, protect life and property through fire suppression, fire prevention and emergency medical aid.  Respond to fire alarms, medical calls and other emergency situations on the Morongo reservation and enterprises. Maintain firefighting equipment in proper working condition. Participate in extensive training activities to enhance firefighting abilities. Provide further assistance in related duties as required.

Qualifications

 

  • Must have CSFM Fire Academy, EMT-P, State license, current ACLS, PALS, PHTLS or ITLS, CPR card, current class C driver’s license and be insurable on company policy.
  • Able to obtain local Riverside Accreditation immediately after hire.
  • Minimum of (1) one year as paramedic in the 911 system, this may include transport and non-transport experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED supplemented by graduation from a State Certified Fire Academy required.
  • Salary $17.13 per hour based on a modified Kelly Schedule, 56 hour work week.

Qualifications

 

  • Provide consultation and technical expertise concerning tribal enterprise business overall operations and activities.
  • Respond to inquires, resolve issues and conflicts and provide detailed and technical information concerning related laws, codes, standards, requirements, goals, objectives, budgets, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting fiscal systems, policies, procedures and practices. 
  • Able to make business evaluations, create and recommend procedures, analyze new trends plus operating and net margins.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting or related field and six years experience supervising managers who have Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Minimum four years of multi-facility management experience required.
  • Prior Regional Manager, District Manager or General Manager experience preferred.

 

 

Cultural heritage assistant

Description

Perform varied and responsible administrative assistant and clerical duties in support of the goals and objectives of the Cultural Heritage Program; assist in research and development of cultural resources for the Morongo community; manage and maintain the Morongo Collections; assist in tribal cultural resource management consultations with local, state, federal agencies as well as assisting with cultural monitors, events, and workshops.

Qualifications

 

  • Four years increasingly responsible administrative assistant experience with previous experience and interest in the cultivation and preservation of Native American heritage is required.

Description

Responsible for: processing cash outs for gaming customers, machine maintenance, log books, and reporting machine malfunctions. Maintain the gaming operation, including but not limited to, cashiering, and stocking cold boxes, shelves and stand ups. Sustain slot area and keep inventory on supplies needed for the area. Excellent customer service skills required.

Description

Perform tasks involving the care and maintenance of greens, fairways, traps, tees, shrubbery and other areas of the golf course in order to maintain acceptable appearance and meet golfing standards. Work involves operation and preventive maintenance of golf course with heavy equipment. Operate triplex greens mower, walking and triplex riding power mower, self-propelled varticut machine and other equipment.

Description

Under the direction of the General Manager, perform the following tasks: clean the entire store, restrooms, slot area, and the outside restrooms; power washes the outside of the building, pump area and islands, the car wash and parking lots.  Perform minor repairs to car wash, store and fuel pumps. Dispense propane and assist customers with R.V. dumping. Maintain maintenance logs daily.

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of one (1) year related experience.
  • Training in gas station custodial duties is preferred. 
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and effectively communicate to customers, clients, and other employees is essential.

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of activities in the maintenance and repair of buildings, systems and equipment.   Duties include, but are not limited to: servicing AC/Heating units, refrigeration equipment and small appliances; light plumbing and electrical work; troubleshoot equipment and systems; drywall work, painting, graffiti abatement; Research and ordering of material or equipment; Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools as well as machinery. Custodian Maintenance

Description

Perform routine custodial duties to include overall building and grounds maintenance and repair functions.  Duties include cleaning, vacuuming and sanitizing interior and exterior spaces. Grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, and repairs. Basic building maintenance repairs such as changing light bulbs, filters, painting and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of one (2) year of related experience or training in the custodial arts and grounds maintenance preferred.
  • A valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable on the company vehicle insurance policy.

Provide protection, security and safety enforcement services to safeguard the lives, property, and rights of Tribal members and guests. Respond to crime and accident scenes, emergency situations and other requests for assistance.  Duties include, but are not limited to, patrol assigned areas, assist with money pulls and prepare daily logs.  

Qualifications

 

  • Mandatory possession of current California Guard Card, Weapons Permit, PC 832 and Level 1.
  • Minimum of six months related experience and/or POST Certificate required.
  • A clean driving record and insurability on Company insurance policy is a requirement.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required prior to date of hire.
  • Ability to pass a stringent background and credit check, and computer skills assessment.  
  • Candidates will need to have his/her own duty belt and boots.
