Qualifications

 

  • California credential authorizing the holder to teach in elementary grades; General Elementary, General Primary, Standard Elementary or Multiple Subject.

  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency and current TB test.
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree with emphasis in elementary education, instructional technology, and a subject matter field commonly taught in the elementary grades or closely related field which meets credential requirements.
  • Two (2) years experience as a full time elementary classroom teacher in a public or private school.

Math Specialist

Description

Morongo School is a WASC accredited private school dedicated to offering high quality education to the children of the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, with small class sizes and individualized instruction. Teacher must exhibit strong skills in the areas of academic instruction, classroom management, and positive behavioral supports and interventions. Responsible for implementing and coordinating the Math program. Req. to teach all levels of math from grades K-9.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Must recognize math practices, teaching strategies and student learning.
  • California Multiple Subject Credential.  No Child Left Behind (NCLB) compliant. 
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency
  • Current TB test.
  • Ability to teach a self contained classroom.
  • BA in Math or related field and/or CSET in Math.

Description

Perform a variety of entry-level maintenance and repair work on Tribal buildings, sites, and equipment.  Weed abatement, clean and maintain roads, sewers, firebreaks, culverts and drainage lines.  Also, perform simple preventive maintenance and other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of one (1) year of general construction and/or maintenance experience required.
  • Possession of a valid CA Driver License and insurable on company policy
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs required.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions required
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Description

Responsible for: processing cash outs for gaming customers, machine maintenance, log books, and reporting machine malfunctions. Maintain the gaming operation, including but not limited to, cashiering, and stocking cold boxes, shelves and stand ups. Sustain slot area and keep inventory on supplies needed for the area. Excellent customer service skills required.

Qualifications

 

  • A  minimum of two (2) year of previous cash handling and customer service experience required.

Qualifications

 

  • Provide consultation and technical expertise concerning tribal enterprise business overall operations and activities.
  • Respond to inquires, resolve issues and conflicts and provide detailed and technical information concerning related laws, codes, standards, requirements, goals, objectives, budgets, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting fiscal systems, policies, procedures and practices. 
  • Able to make business evaluations, create and recommend procedures, analyze new trends plus operating and net margins.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting or related field and six years experience supervising managers who have Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Minimum four years of multi-facility management experience required.
  • Prior Regional Manager, District Manager or General Manager experience preferred.

Description

Incumbent will perform security and safety verifications of all vehicles, members, visitors, and personnel entering and exiting the Morongo Reservation; safeguarding the lives, property and rights of tribal members and guests. Prepare and maintain a variety of reports and logs related to activities. Provide other security enforcement services as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of six (6) months previous security experience required. 
  • Possession of a current California Guard Card and California Driver’s License is required.
  • A clean driving record and insurability on Company insurance policy is a requirement.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required prior to date of hire. Ability to pass a stringent background.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Salary $13.54/hr
