Under the direction of the Site Manager, plan, develop and implement social services designed to assist TANF participants in specific areas of career development and welfare; coordinate and direct TANF resources and communications to meet program objectives and goals to assure smooth and efficient activities. Provide TANF participants social and personal preventative & developmental guidance. 



  • A minimum of two (2) years increasingly responsible experience in social work,preferable with Tribal T.A.N.F.
  • Experience with Case Management in a human service setting is required.
  • Efficient organizational skills; plus excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency in computer operations and software, and knowledge of basic office equipment is a requirement.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or a related field is required.
  • Experience may be substituted in lieu of required education; prior experience providing social services to Native communities will be considered.

Location Morongo Golf Club

Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems. Issue, open, and serve wine and champagne. Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, glasses, dishes and other tools. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. Provide excellent customer service.




  • Excellent verbal skills. 
  • Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with customers and staff. 
  • Knowledge of all phases of beverage administration, cost control, and familiarity of all beverage services required. 
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Valid Food Handler Card is required prior to starting work.
  • It is encouraged but not required for individuals to have a bartending license/certificate.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends, flexibility with scheduling.

Location Realty Department

Under the direction of the Real Estate Administrator, perform highly responsible and confidential secretarial and administrative assistant duties in support of Tribal Realty and Housing functions and activities; plan, coordinate and organize office activities and coordinate flow of communications for the assigned supervisor.




  • Experience with windows interface and Microsoft Windows, Access, Word, Excel and Outlook are required. 
  • Must be able to pass a Federal Backgrounds Check in order to access the Trust Asset and Accounting Management System (TAAMS), a Department of Interior Computer System and to obtain access to Federal Records.
  • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level course work in secretarial science, records management, or a related field and three or more years of increasingly responsible secretarial or administrative assistant experience.

Location Morongo School

Under the direction of the Assistant Principal/Teacher, responsible for assisting in the care and supervision of students, as well as the delivery of learning activities for students at various grade-levels.  These activities will take place in classrooms, on playgrounds, during bus loading and unloading, and with other school related tasks, as assigned. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, receiving and signing in children,   creating documents and reports, and performing simple clerical dutie




  • Selected candidates will be required to obtain valid First Aid and CPR certification after offer of employment.
  • Knowledge of Basic principles and practices of elementary school education. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills is essential.
  • Knowledge of basic subjects taught in school: including, but not limited to, arithmetic, grammar, spelling, language arts and reading is required.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two plus years experience in an educational setting (e.g., public school, alternative education program, or charter school). 
  • Two or more years of college are preferred.

Location Facilities Maintenance

Perform routine custodial duties to maintain assigned buildings and adjacent areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition. Duties include, but are not limited to, clean and vacuum floors and carpets, and sanitize bathrooms and break rooms. Basic building maintenance experience preferred (painting, light bulb & filter replacement, light plumbing, etc.).



  • A minimum of one (1) year of related experience or training in the custodial arts preferred.
  • A valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable on the company vehicle insurance policy. 
  • Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs and stand up to 8 hrs.
  • Clearly communicate orally and in writing.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Salary $12.52/hr

Location Education

Implement and supervise the health services for Morongo School.  Provide nursing services as part of a designated program.  Develop treatment plans and training to educate participants of the program.



  • Knowledge of principles and methods of assessment of medical conditions and treatment planning of children.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
  • Possess a license to practice as an RN or Public Health RN.
  • Valid School Nurse Certification.
  • BS degree in nursing or related field. Current training/certification requirements to teach Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.

Location Construction Services Department

Preparation of site, floor, and elevation plans and construction documents for a variety of Tribal Governmental and Enterprise applications.  Assist with developing, analyzing plans and specifications from Architects and Engineers; and offering input on plans from numerous levels (layout, structural, mechanical, electric, etc.). Operate computer-aided design (CAD) drafting system for preparation of both conceptual and construction documents for Tribal projects.  Responsible for preparing detailed budgets on proposed Tribal projects (this includes all on and off-site work, design, engineering, construction, material costs and any other pertinent details related to a particular project). Purchase high volume items and materials that cover extended contract periods.Evaluate supplier and contractor invoices for work completion and prepare for payment.  Perform related duties as assigned.



  • A minimum of five years of professional experience related to construction, including experience in drafting, cost estimating, scheduling, project mgmt., and engineering elevations. 
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office are required.
  • Good written and communication skills and must possession of a valid CA Driver License with good driving record and insurable on Company policy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related studies preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalence.
  • Knowledgeable of and educated in Computer Aided Drafting and design specific in AutoCAD.

Location Morongo School

Incumbent is responsible for implementing and coordinating the Morongo Reading program. Responsible for the literacy performance of the students in general and of struggling readers in particular (i.e., providing instruction and serving as a resource to tutors). Must be able to teach reading to all grade levels. The position requires working collaboratively to implement a quality reading program that is research-based and meets the needs of the Morongo students.



  • Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, work cooperatively with staff to diagnose and provide solid reading instruction, and collaborate with colleagues in meeting student needs.
  • Ability to recognize best practices in reading instruction, reading strategies, and student learning.
  • This teacher must have team working skills and be able to fill a variety of roles within the learning center to benefit the Morongo students.
  • California teaching credential; Specialist Credential in Reading and Language Arts preferred.
  • Two (2) years classroom teaching experience.
  • Reading teacher experience desired.
  • Salary Stepped Scale begins at $46,881/annually

Location Reservation Patrol

Incumbent will perform security and safety verifications of all vehicles, members, visitors, and personnel entering and exiting the Morongo Reservation; safeguarding the lives, property and rights of tribal members and guests. Prepare and maintain a variety of reports and logs related to activities. Provide other security enforcement services as assigned.



  • Minimum of six (6) months previous security experience required. 
  • Possession of a current California Guard Card and California Driver’s License is required.
  • A clean driving record and insurability on Company insurance policy is a requirement.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required prior to date of hire. Ability to pass a stringent background.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Salary $13.54/hr


Shift/Hours Full Time
Location Golf Club

Perform tasks involving the care and maintenance of greens, fairways, traps, tees, shrubbery and other areas of the golf course in order to maintain acceptable appearance and meet golfing standards. Work involves operation and preventive maintenance of golf course with heavy equipment. Operate triplex greens mower, walking and triplex riding power mower, self-propelled varticut machine and other equipment.




  • Knowledge of: standard methods, practices, tools and equipment used in developing and maintaining the fairways and greens ; use and operation of mowers, spray machines and other standard tools; and equipment used in the care and maintenance of a golf course.
  • One (1) year of experience in gardening, and care and maintenance of golf courses, lawns, or athletic fields required.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

Under the direction of the Education Administrator, teach and instruct academic, social, behavioral and other related skill areas; plan, develop, organize and conduct a comprehensive education program for elementary grades 1-6, based on the curriculum outlined by the California Department of Education.



  • California credential authorizing the holder to teach in elementary grades; General Elementary, General Primary, Standard Elementary or Multiple Subject. 
  • No Child Left Behind (NCLB) compliant.  Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency and current TB test.
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree with emphasis in elementary education, instructional technology, and a subject matter field commonly taught in the elementary grades or closely related field which meets credential requirements.
  • Two (2) years experience as a full time elementary classroom teacher in a public or private school.
