Description

Under the direction of the Golf Food and Beverage Manager, receive cash from customers or employees in payment for goods or services; take customer orders; assemble and serve selected items to customers; provide five –star customer service; and other duties as needed. Maintain a clean, well stocked and organized cart. Sale alcoholic beverages and check identification for age verification.

Qualifications

 

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including evening, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff is necessary.
  • Prior food service and/or cash handling experience preferred. 
  • A valid Food Handler Card is required prior to starting work.
  • Must be age 21 or older to serve alcoholic beverages.

Maintenance/Custodian

Description

Under the direction of the General Manager, perform the following tasks: clean the entire store, restrooms, slot area, and the outside restrooms; power washes the outside of the building, pump area and islands, the car wash and parking lots.  Perform minor repairs to car wash, store and fuel pumps. Dispense propane and assist customers with R.V. dumping. Maintain maintenance logs daily.

 

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of one (1) year related experience.
  • Training in gas station custodial duties is preferred. 
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and effectively communicate to customers, clients, and other employees is essential.
  • Candidate needs to be dependable and available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Case advocate

Description

Under the direction of the Site Manager, plan, develop and implement social services designed to assist Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) participants in the specific areas of family formation development; coordinate and direct Morongo Tribal TANF Program resources and communications to meet program objectives and goals to assure smooth and efficient activities.

Qualifications

 

  • Efficient organizational skills; plus excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and software, and knowledge of basic office equipment is a requirement.
  • Any combination equivalent to: An Associate of Art’s Degree in Human Services or related field and two years’ experience working in community outreach, public administration, or social services agency. 
  • Bachelor’s degree and experience providing social services to the Native American community preferred.
  • Must demonstrate one or more years of experience in the provision of case management in human service setting. 

     

     

     

 

Eligibility technician

Description Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Eligibility Technician performs varied technical work in determining eligibility for one of several categorical forms of aid; and performs related work. Duties may include a combination of the following: interviewing applicants and reviewing documentation for the purpose of eligibility verification, processing assistance benefits, and making referrals to supportive services. Ensure that case documentation meets regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge of Federal, State, Current TANF, social service laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Computer literate MS Office including Word and Outlook.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  • Current driver license and insurability on Morongo policy.
  • Any combination equivalent to: A high school diploma or equivalent, AND, four  (4) years of progressively responsible work experience in a recognized public or tribal human services agency, two (2) years of which included determining and continuing eligibility service needs in a county, state, federal  or Tribal TANF agency.

  • An Associate of Arts degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited college or university with course work in human services, social work, sociology, psychology or a related field, AND, two (2) years of progressively responsible work experience in a recognized public or tribal social service agency, one (1) year of which included determining and continuing eligibility service needs in a county, state, federal or Tribal TANF social service agency.

 

Equipment mechanic

Description

Under the direction of the Public Works Director, perform a variety of skilled duties involved in the mechanical maintenance of company vehicles, fire trucks, tractors, and buses. Also maintain various other company gear including grounds equipment, small gas engines and electrical powered equipment.   • Must have minimum 5 years working on Heavy Equipment mechanic experience; diesel engine knowledge required.  Also must posses a Valid California Class B driver’s license. Description

Prepare and cook meals for customers of Morongo Golf Club. Read guest order tickets and prepare meals as specified by menu.  Tasks include, but are not limited to, grilling, cooking, roasting, operating steam kettles, and frying foods. Incumbent will perform a variety of skilled tasks related to the installation, repair and maintenance of: distribution water mains, services, hydrants, meters, pumps, motors and related equipment.   • Mandatory possession of current California Guard Card, Weapons Permit, PC 832 and Level 1.
