  • Minimum 10 or more years senior business management experience.

maintenance custodian

Shift/Hours Part Time
Location Morongo Travel Center Gas Station

Under the direction of the General Manager, perform the following tasks: clean the entire store, restrooms, slot area, and the outside restrooms; power washes the outside of the building, pump area and islands, the car wash and parking lots.  Perform minor repairs to car wash, store and fuel pumps. Dispense propane and assist customers with R.V. dumping. Maintain maintenance logs daily.




  • A minimum of one (1) year related experience.
  • Training in gas station custodial duties is preferred. 
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and effectively communicate to customers, clients, and other employees is essential.
  • Candidate needs to be dependable and available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. 
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.

Gate officer

Shift/Hours Part Time
Location Reservation Patrol

Incumbent will perform security and safety verifications of all vehicles, members, visitors, and personnel entering and exiting the Morongo Reservation; safeguarding the lives, property and rights of tribal members and guests. Prepare and maintain a variety of reports and logs related to activities. Provide other security enforcement services as assigned.




  • Minimum of six (6) months previous security experience required. 
  • Possession of a current California Guard Card and California Driver’s License is required.
  • A clean driving record and insurability on Company insurance policy is a requirement.
  • Ability to pass a stringent background.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required.

enterprise officer

Location Reservation Patrol

Provide protection and security for Tribal assets in and around Morongo Travel Center and Enterprise locations. 




  • Mandatory possession of a current California Guard Card and Weapons Permit.
  • A minimum of six months related experience requested.
  • Ability to pass a stringent background is required. 
  • In addition, candidate must have his/her own duty belt and boots.
  • Candidates will go through a computer skills assessment.
  • Candidates are required to maintain a valid CA Driver License and insurability on Morongo’s vehicle insurance.

Custodial Maintenance

Shift/Hours On Call
Location Facilities Maintenance Department

Perform routine custodial duties to include overall building and grounds maintenance and repair functions.  Duties include cleaning, vacuuming and sanitizing interior and exterior spaces. Grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, and repairs. Basic building maintenance repairs such as changing light bulbs, filters, painting and other duties as assigned.




  • A minimum of one (2) year of related experience or training in the custodial arts and grounds maintenance preferred.
  • A valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable on the company vehicle insurance policy. 
  • Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs and stand up to 8 hrs.
  • Availability to work flexible hours. Must be able to pass astringent background.

Shift/Hours Part Time
Location Golf Club

Responsible for coordinating serving stations and providing customers with excellent quality service. Greet guests at their tables, keeping them comfortable. Provide efficient service by guiding guests through menus, suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts.
Also responsible for keeping orders organized and timing the course of service for guests.




  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is a requirement.
  • Dealing with the public and staff tactfully and diplomatically is essential.
  • Prior food service and/or cash handling experience preferred. 
  • Previous golf course experience is preferred.

Assistant Controller

Location Tribal Finance

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), assist with the planning, organizing and directing the Tribe’s financial policies. Provide assistance with the overseeing of financial functions including accounting, budgeting, financing, insurance, audit and treasury. Employ communications and record-keeping functions to meet tribal accounting needs. Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.




  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in both a governmental and for profit environment.
  • Experience with the use of Navision accounting software is preferred
  • Valid California driver’s license and insurable on company policy
  • CPA license is preferred
  • A BA/BS degree in business administration or accounting is required.
  • Five years experience involving the review, analysis, maintenance and adjustment of a variety of accounts and ledgers.

Assistant Manager

Location Canyon Lanes Bowling Alley

Under the direction of the Bowling Center General Manager to assist in planning, organizing, market, direct, and help review all the activities of the Morongo Bowling and Gaming Center, including the daily operations and overall profitability of the bowling center, facility and equipment maintenance, customer service and food beverage services. Must maintain financial annual budget.



  • Knowledge of AMF equipment and operations.
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 
  • Must be PC literate and able to maintain annual financial budgets.
  • Minimum of three to five years bowling center management experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.



general manager

Shift/Hours Full Time
Location Hadley Fruit Orchards

Plans, organizes, directs, and oversees operations of specialty food store purchasing and selling lines of merchandise in specialized departments. Manage the activities of Hadley Fruit Orchards. Establish financial goals (sales, expense, P&L) for all of Hadley. Develop retail products for consumption as well as leads for additional purchases of products. Establish and formulate pricing policies for products, including gross profit margins (GPM), expense control and guidelines to achieve the GPM.



  • Five (5) years executive management experience in grocery retail management in sales and operations, product buying, vendor contract negotiations, inventory, product development, visual merchandising, shipping and receiving.
  • Preferred management experience in organic and grocery specialty stores.
  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. supplemented by college degree in business and/or equivalent.



Math specialist

Morongo School is a WASC accredited private school dedicated to offering high quality education to the children of the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, with small class sizes and individualized instruction. Responsible for implementing and coordinating the Math program. Req. to teach all levels of math from grades K-9.



  • Must recognize math practices, teaching strategies and student learning.
  • California Multiple Subject Credential.  No Child Left Behind (NCLB) compliant. 
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency and current TB test.
  • Ability to teach a self contained classroom.
  • BA in Math or related field and/or CSET in Math.
  • Teaching Credential.
  • Two (2) years experience as a full time classroom teacher in a public or private school.

Patrol Officer

Location Reservation Patrol

Provide protection, security and safety enforcement services to safeguard the lives, property, and rights of Tribal members and guests. Respond to crime and accident scenes, emergency situations and other requests for assistance.  Duties include, but are not limited to, patrol assigned areas, assist with money pulls and prepare daily logs.  



  • Mandatory possession of current California Guard Card, Weapons Permit, PC 832 and Level 1.
  • Minimum of six months related experience and/or POST Certificate required.
  • A clean driving record and insurability on Company insurance policy is a requirement.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required prior to date of hire.
  • Ability to pass a stringent background and credit check, and computer skills assessment.  
  • Candidates will need to have his/her own duty belt and boots. 
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
