Description

The Catering Sales Manager will contribute to generating new sales and catering business leads and servicing existing contracts. Primary responsibility is to generate revenue for Morongo Golf Club by generating leads and converting them to sales with a heavy concentration in event planning in corporate, local and social markets. This position will be responsible for contracting and closing weddings, birthday celebrations, banquets and other social or business functions; supplying food and other services as agreed by the parties and verify all staff are carrying out the event smoothly; provide five star customer service; and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum four years catering sales experience is required preferably in the country club/resort/wedding market.
  • The ideal candidate will possess extraordinary networking and client relation skills and good knowledge of the local catering market, including the wedding market, corporate, and social market.
  • Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Requires the ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Must be extremely organized, personable and enthusiastic.
  • Must be able to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff.

Description

Responsible for coordinating serving stations and providing customers with excellent quality service. Greet guests at their tables, keeping them comfortable. Provide efficient service by guiding guests through menus, suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts.

Also responsible for keeping orders organized and timing the course of service for guests.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is a requirement.
  • Dealing with the public and staff tactfully and diplomatically is essential.
  • Prior food service and/or cash handling experience preferred. 
  • Previous golf course experience is preferred. Valid Food Handler Card is required prior to starting work.

Location Morongo Fire Department
Description

Under the direction of the Fire Captain, protect life and property through fire suppression, fire prevention and emergency medical aid in response to fire alarms, medical calls and other emergency situations on the Morongo reservation and enterprises. Maintain firefighting equipment in proper working condition. Participate in extensive training activities to enhance firefighting abilities. Provide further assistance in related duties as required. This position is for Firefighter or Firefighter Paramedic

Qualifications

 

  • Firefighter: Must have EMT-B, Hazmat FRO, CPR card and CSFM Fire Academy or Firefighter I certification, plus a valid California Drivers License.
  • Firefighter Paramedic: Must have CSFM Fire Academy, Hazmat FRO, EMT-P, State licensure, current ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, CPR cards, and a current class C driver’s license. Must be able to obtain local Riverside Accreditation within three months of hire. At least two years as paramedic in busy 911system, this may include transport and non-transport experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED supplemented by graduation from a State Certified Fire Academy required.

Description

Under the direction of the Food and Beverage Manager incumbent will plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Kitchen Department. Responsible for food preparation while ensuring superior quality and consistency. Oversee all aspects of kitchen production, food quality, scheduling and training of kitchen staff, implement new menu items when needed, and maintain order food and manage cost for Tukwet Canyon Golf Course and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Three (3) to five (5) years previous experience in a culinary/food & beverage line position with two (2) years in a supervisory or assistant manager position.
  • Work experience in reputable country club preferred.
  • Experience with purchasing and inventory systems.
  • Creative menu development skills.
  • Strong technical literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and point of sale systems.
  • Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with members, employee partners and guests.

Description

Incumbent is responsible for cashiering which includes: receiving cash payments, processing credit or debit card transactions and providing receipts to customers. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, stocking cold boxes, shelves and stand ups; helping with inventory; assisting customers; and maintaining a clean work area

Description

Incumbent will perform security and safety verifications of all vehicles, members, visitors, and personnel entering and exiting the Morongo Reservation; safeguarding the lives, property and rights of tribal members and guests. Prepare and maintain a variety of reports and logs related to activities. Provide other security enforcement services as assigned.

Under the direction of the Construction Services Manager and/or Director, the Custodial Supervisor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervision of Employees (develop and maintain work schedules, quality control, safety, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions); Inventory (issue and track supplies, cultivate relationship with vendors and negotiate deals, monitor equipment, negotiate repairs as needed); Budget (track expenses, research and submit proposals for recommended purchases, assist in department’s annual budget preparation, control uniform program); Records (maintain several computerized records and logs); and Liaison (with other departments and tribal members).

Description

Perform tasks involving the care and maintenance of greens, fairways, traps, tees, shrubbery and other areas of the golf course in order to maintain acceptable appearance and meet golfing standards. Work involves operation and preventive maintenance of golf course with heavy equipment. Operate triplex greens mower, walking and triplex riding power mower, self-propelled varticut machine and other equipment.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge of: standard methods, practices, tools and equipment used in developing and maintaining the fairways and greens ; use and operation of mowers, spray machines and other standard tools; and equipment used in the care and maintenance of a golf course.
  • One (1) year of experience in gardening, and care and maintenance of golf courses, lawns, or athletic fields required.

  • California credential authorizing the holder to teach in elementary grades; General Elementary, General Primary, Standard Elementary or Multiple Subject. 
  • No Child Left Behind (NCLB) compliant.  Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency and current TB test.
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree with emphasis in elementary education, instructional technology, and a subject matter field commonly taught in the elementary grades or closely related field which meets credential requirements.

Description

Prepare and cook meals for customers of Morongo Golf Club. Read guest order tickets and prepare meals as specified by menu.  Tasks include, but are not limited to, grilling, cooking, roasting, operating steam kettles, and frying foods. Assembling meals (hot & cold) and plate garnishes. Order and stock supplies. Clean kitchen and equipment according to standards. Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

 

  • Candidate is required to have prior culinary training and three (3) years experience as a short order or line cook. 
  • Valid Food Handler Card is required prior to starting work.
  • Candidate needs to be flexible and available to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
