Morongo Tribe Adds Critical Tool Towards Public Safety & Disaster Response

The Morongo Tribe has added a critical tool to its continued efforts to provide public safety and disaster response. The Tribe took delivery of a mobile command and communications vehicle that now allows the Emergency Management Department to communicate with its response partners in the county and region. The vehicle is part of a larger command post system that allows for disaster response operations and management of preplanned and special events.

Morongo Provides 400 Local Children with New Shoes, Backpacks and School Supplies

Four hundred local schoolchildren in need received free backpacks stuffed with back-to-school supplies, along with new Nike shoes, socks and hooded sweatshirts at a special event Wednesday funded by the Morongo Charity Golf Tournament.
