Hundreds of golfers roamed the fairways for charity on Monday at Morongo’s18th annual golf tournament, which raised $60,000 for new backpacks, school supplies, hoodies and shoes for 800 low-income children in the San Gorgonio Pass.
Actors and sports legends were among the more than 275 golfers who gathered at the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon on Dec. 6 for the annual Christmas Cheer All Year Celebrity Golf Tournament which will help provide 3,000 disadvantaged children from across the region with a holiday shopping spree this year.
Hundreds of golfers took the fairways as part of the 17th Annual Morongo Charity Golf Tournament which raised $60,000 for several non-profit groups, including a program that will provide new backpacks, school supplies and shoes to as many as 500 low-income children in the San Gorgonio Pass.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass held its third annual golf tournament on Monday, June 25 and raised $25,308 to help fund the organization.
